ORLANDO, June 4 — Microsoft TechEd 2007 — Teamprise today announced plans to support the upcoming Visual Studio 2008 release of Team Foundation Server. The Teamprise Client Suite, which provides Java developers and cross-platform development teams with full access to the software development lifecycle features of Visual Studio Team Foundation Server, will be upgraded to support the performance enhancements and new features coming in Visual Studio 2008, currently in Beta.
Java API will enable Java developers to create custom applications that access the features of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server.

The Teamprise Java SDK for Team Foundation Server will enable software developers to create custom applications in the Java programming language that have access to the full set of features in Team Foundation Server, including source code control and work item tracking.
Teamprise supports the Open Source community by providing complementary licenses to users of CodePlex, the open source project hosting service from Microsoft.
