New Release: Teamprise Client Suite 1.1
Teamprise announces the release of version 1.1 of the Teamprise Client Suite, the leading solution for accessing Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server from Java development environments and from Macintosh and UNIX platforms.
The most notable features added to version 1.1 are support for the NTLM version 2 authentication scheme and Universal Binary support for Mac OS X. In addition, 1.1 fixes several minor bugs discovered in 1.0. For a full list of changes, please refer to the 1.1 release notes.
"We supported NTLM v1 in our [Teamprise Client Suite] 1.0 release, but several customers had environments that required NTLM v2 so this release was primarily focusing on addressing that need", said Corey Steffen, General Manager of Teamprise. "We are also pleased to offer support to our customers moving to the Intel-based Mac platform."
Teamprise Client Suite 1.0 was released in April, 2006. Teamprise plans to release version 2.0 in October, 2006, with public previews available for download beginning in August. Teamprise Client Suite 2.0 will include full support for work item tracking, and all remaining source control features [not in 1.0] such as Branch and Shelve.
