New Release: Teamprise 3.2
Teamprise announces the availability of Teamprise 3.2, its latest release of client applications for accessing Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Foundation Server from Java and cross-platform development environments.
The release offers a broad array of customer driven improvements, including:
- Expanded feature set for the Teamprise Command-Line Client making it feature complete and suitable for all types of development
- Team Build Extensions adds support for Maven builds, allowing companies to build Maven projects from Team Build
- Kerberos authentication support on Linux and Mac OS X lets organizations adopt a single sign-on (SSO) service that covers all of their TFS users
- HP-UX on IA64 (Itanium 2) support for Teamprise Explorer, Plug-in for Eclipse, and Command-Line Client
"The Teamprise Plug-in for Eclipse includes many enhancements our customers have asked for, especially in the areas of version control workspace management. This new release is more flexible, and provides new ways to import projects into the Eclipse workspace," said Shaw Terwilliger, software development manager for Teamprise. "We've added many features to the Command-Line Client, which makes it the ideal choice for accessing Team Foundation Server from terminal sessions and scripts on a large number of platforms."
